Nike Air Max 2009

With nice weather upon us, running season is right along with it. The Nike Air Max 2009 offers great cushioning and a smooth ride through the Air Max 360 sole unit. Combining to the 360 air technology, Nike has added a full length cushlon midsole to absorb more shock and protect against too much impact on the full air unit.

The shoe is also very lightweight, using the flywire technology made popular by a wide variety of Nike basketball shoes that released this winter. The flywire also allows for decent breathability. It is almost perfect for spring weather. It is not as breathable as mesh, allowing for some warmth during those cold and rainy spring days.

The shoe is made for neutral or underpronator foot types. A majority of runners have a neutral foot type, which means that generally they have a normal arch and they strike on their heel first and roll directly forward dispersing the impact evenly throughout the forefoot. On the other hand, someone with a very high, rigid arch, is more than likely going to be an underpronator, also known as a supinator. This foot type restricts most of the pressure and impact to the outermost edges of the foot.

For those runners who like a stylish without sacrificing good running technology, this may be the shoe for you. The Air Max 2009 also is equipped with Nike+ technology to help motivate you to really get into your workouts.
