Air Jordan Spiz'ike

Today the Air Jordan Spiz'ike hit stores across the country. The Spizike is a sneaker that brings together two greats of the 90's, Michael Jordan and Spike Lee. Some of you may remember the commercials they did back in the day with Spike Lee as Mars Blackman. Is it the shoes? Gotta be the shoes. Or more recently, the legacy story commercial.

The shoe is a combination of all of the shoes in which Spike Lee was a part of the commercial ad campaign, AJ III, IV, V, VI, and XX. The AJ III inspired the cement print and the sole of the sneaker. The wing lace-lock system comes from the AJ IV. They took the AJ V's overall shape, netting, and ankle designs. The AJ VI contributes its unique tongue. And lastly, the laser print on the inside of the sneaker is from the XX.

Overall, I love this sneaker. But this is not my favorite colorway. If the shoe didn't have the blue added in, i think the colorway would have looked better. I'm not saying I don't like them, because let's all be honest, these kicks are ordered, and a few UPS stops away from my collection.
